North Professional Development Day 2019
Sunday 24 February 2019
10am to 5pm
Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester
Teaching children and young voices
with Jenevora Williams
The day will explore a diverse range of singing technique applicable to all genres, with a focus on young and changing voices. We will delve into appropriate technique for young voices alongside the teaching of one to one, small groups and choir leading. The sessions will be interactive, including a masterclass in the afternoon when young singers will work with Jenevora to explore technical approaches to classical and musical theatre repertoire. There will also be lots of space for questions arising from the masterclass.
